I am, and always have been a "serial entrepreneur". Sometimes I did amazingly well. Other times not so much, but I always got back on that horse and rode again for success. The one thing that I could always fall back on, or use to multiply my success, was the real estate I owned. Always "running in the background" of my life, were rental properties, my own home's value, or investments with partners. Real estate gave me the security to try new things, and now I want to show you how to do it too. I don't care where you are starting from - it's never too early or too late to start a plan, and you can always find a way!
Did you know that even into the 1970’s married working women had to have their husbands co-sign for any credit they wanted? And, (this happened to my brother and sister-in-law) a married working women’s salary was only counted at 50% on a mortgage application? (Because, of course, as soon as she started having children she wouldn’t have an income.) This generational, pervasive belief about a woman’s financial worth still lives with us today. I believe it will take maybe even another generation or two to fully eradicate this subconscious belief.
I am not a feminist. In fact, I value men, their role in society, and have many role models and heros I look up to and lean on regulary. I don’t believe any man has to “lose” in order for a woman to “win” in anything.
